Later this month Formula 1 heads across the pond for the British Grand Prix – one of the oldest races in the sport’s history. Formula 1 races started here way back in 1950 and to this day it’s one of the most anticipated events of the season.

Current Standings Going Into June

As of right now both Sebastian Vettel and Fernando Alonso have each won two of the six races this season. But it’s Vettel that’s starting to distance himself from the pack after a second place finish at the Monaco race on May 26th.

He’ll have to watch out for Nico Rosberg who will be coming off a win as well as Kimi Raikkonen who is second in points after winning the first race this season and showing impressive consistency on the track ever since.
